RichFLV is a freeware program that allows you to edit Flash Video Files and then export them as FLV, MP3, SWF or even Jpeg and PNG.

I wanted to edit a Flash Video File, basically to cut out parts of it. I didn’t want to transcode the file to another format, edit it and then transcode it back to FLV, I wanted something that would allow me to edit the FLV file directly.

Free FLV Converter, previously reviewed here, has reached version 4.6. Unfortunately the developer doesn’t say anything about what’s new in this version. So here’s again a quick recap of the program features:

FLV files are becoming more and more popular on the web. Basically it’s the most common option you have when you want to post video content online. Converting your media files to FLV becomes a necessity, and Riva FLV Encoder might be the program you need. Of course, it’s free.

I reviewed this software some tome ago, Free FLV Converter v3.5. The program has been updated this week, and the developer says that this version fixes some minor bugs. There you go, you can download it from here. It’s still free!

Free FLV Converter is a handy tool if you wish to deal with flash video files. I had a mpeg video file captured from TV and I wanted to post it in a website, so I had to convert it to flv. I did that with this little program.
