The Freeware Mission goes on, the finishing line is getting closer. And I’ll be very proud to have a freeware only PC! Now I’m going to choose the best free image editing program. Now I’m not doing image editing on a daily basis, but I like to play around with my photos from time to time. Which is the freeware program I picked? Actually I found a few, but I was disappointed with most of them because they say they are free, but when it comes to really downloading a driver update things tend to …

The Freeware Mission enters another week. This is the 22nd episode, 21 more to go. Now I’m going to pick the best free disk health monitoring solution. We all know that hard disks aren’t exactly the most reliable components in a computer system, so it’s quite important to monitor their health status and do something before it would be too late.

I’ve tested a few so-called freeware disk health monitoring programs. Unfortunately many of them are actually “crippleware” – the functions are crippled so that anytime you need to do something …
