Hey folks, welcome to the Freeware Mission again, cruising through to the final destination – a freeware only PC. This one here is an interesting episode, because I do professional video editing from time to time to earn some cash to pay the rent. The program that I’m using to edit TV shows, commercials, even motion pictures is Avid Xpress Pro, and that one is far from being free, it costs a lot of dough. Free video editing programs? Welcome to the Freeware Mission, only a few days left until the glorious ending! I have my video player and audio player installed, but I need codecs, that’s pretty obvious. I’m going to show you which codec pack I chose to install and another very useful freeware program.

Today I’m going to choose a free system information program. There are many good ones available.

If you ask me the top three freeware system information tools are PC Wizard 2008, Everest Home Edition and SIW, in any order you want them to be. It’s difficult to make a …

Here we go again, the Freeware Mission continues towards its goal, a freeware only PC! I’ll pick a small freeware program today, something nice and easy that can run in the background and show me the CPU and memory usage right in the system tray.

The program that I chose is SysTrayMeter because I’ve been using it for a while and it never failed. It’s small and tidy, runs in the system tray and can be closed just by double clicking the icon. It comes from the author of another great …
