Many time a need arises before us where we have to go for online conferences or sales demo or any other situation where we have to present some thing to a person who is present at some other point on the globe.  Not only presentations or demos but there may also come a situation where we have to share the desktop remotely for any reason.

We have answer to the situation like that and that is Mikogo. It is the free online desktop sharing tool which can conduct online conferences, or share the desktop remotely for any presentation. This is a free tool and has all the features which a full paid version provides.

It can be used for any academic, professional or for that matter any purpose. Some of the things for which I have used it is to share my personal travel pictures with my family present at some other place. Believe me it is so perfect that if you will get used to it as I did.

Performance

The performance of Mikogo is quite high as the speed is good and there are no connection failures kind of things which can slow down the performance. Even when it works on the cross platform it works well so it can be rated good in terms of its performance.

Reliability

It is very reliable because the connection between the desktops is only via Mikogo servers and according to the developers “every bit of information that is transmitted between Mikogo users during a meeting is encrypted via a 256-Bit AES end-to-end encryption”. So there is nothing to worry at all.

Interface

The user interface is very user friendly and the controls are so easy to use. You just have to select the desired activity that you need to do and that’s all. Some beginners may find the interface a bit difficult but will find it easy when you use it once.
