If you use more than one web browser or if you are planning to change to a new one and you want to move your bookmarks, now you don’t have to create them again, you can use Transmute and move them within one click.

Transmute is a little freeware program specially developed to export bookmarks from and to Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera.

It is extremely easy to use, you only have to choose the source web browser and the target web browser and click Export, that’s all.

You can choose how the bookmarks will be featured in the new browser: root or new folder and you can create a backup in case you’ll want to undo the changes.

Transmute is available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X systems. It also supports Safari, Chromium, Flock and Conqueror web browsers.
