Overview
Revo Uninstaller is a freeware program that helps you to uninstall and remove programs, even those that can not be uninstalled from the Windows Add/Remove Programs applet. It also includes some more tools for your Windows system: Auto Start Manager, Windows Tools Manager, Junk Files Cleaner, Browsers History Cleaner,  Office History Cleaner, Windows History Cleaner, Unrecoverable Delete Tool, Evidence Remover.

Review 

I was using CCleaner to uninstall the programs I didn’t need anymore, but since many people suggested that I shoul give Revo Uninstaller a try… I finally did. The first impression was quite good, the program is very well organized, I was able to identify its features quickly. Now let’s get to the point, how does it handle the uninstalling business.
The main difference between CCleaner’s uninstaller and Revo is that Revo Uninstaller not only runs the repective program uninstaller, but also helps you get rid of any leftovers, folders or registry keys from the uninstalled program.

That feature makes CCleaner’s uninstaller pale and fade away. It’s pretty obvious that Revo Uninstaller takes the uninstalling job seriously. Another interesting option is the Hunter Mode, in which you can just click on a program shortcut and Revo Uninstaller will provide info about the program or allow you to uninstall it, block it from startup and so on.
It also includes all the handy tools I metioned in the overwiew, but I feel it lacks a registry cleaner. If it had that too it would have been a mighty program. Maybe a future version will include that too.

Verdict
 
I’m going to keep this one only because the uninstalling part is very, very good, CCleaner’s uninstaller can’t even compare with this one. However, I have a slight problem because I now have three programs that have some overlapping features: Revo Uninstaller, CCleaner and Advanced WindowsCare V2 Personal. I’m not going to get rid of any of them right now, but I feel that CCleaner is in some danger…
