Best Free Font Finder

by James 28 November 2008 No Comment

Welcome to the Freeware Mission again. Earlier today I picked the best free font viewer, now we have to find more fonts for it to view. Have you ever tried to find fonts over the internet? I did, and many of the websites that came up in the Google search made my antivirus program scream and shout. I decided to find a freeware program that could help me to find fonts. There are not many options available…

As a matter of fact, I did find only one freeware program that could answer my needs: FontNet Explorer. It has all the important font websites included and the program gives you the opportunity to search for a particular font in any of those websites. Or in all of them if you want.

This one is far from being a perfect freeware program. But if we look at the good things there are quite a few in FontNet Explorer: no installation needed, just unzip and run the program, you can have all the good font websites in on place and you can search for a particular font in any of them. Good enough.

You can download FontNet Explorer from here, it’s free!
