Freeware Mission – Best Free BitTorrent Client

by James 28 November 2008 4 Comments

The Freeware Mission continues! I’m going to outfit my system with only freeware programs, except Windows XP. Yesterday I chose my Web Browser, now I’m going to pick the BitTorrent Client for me. Anybody wanna guess?

Well, the choice is quite simple: i think that the best free BitTorrent Client is uTorrent, no doubt about that: it rarely crashes, it’s small and uses only a small amount of system resources. Yesterday they released the first beta of the uTorrent 1.8, and I’m already testing it. The first look is positive, the interface is slightly changed.

Thanks, Cliff. I know that site, but I’m trying to test various software and find the ones that suit my taste. Hopefully I’ll be done with the freeware mission in about a month or so.
