Viruses or system crashes can sometimes leave you with files that you can’t delete with the usual methods. Such files can even cause your system to crash sometimes if you try to send them to the recycle bin. I had this problem a few days ago and I found a free piece of software that solved my worries.

The software is called Advanced File Remover, it’s free to use and it comes as an executable, very small and easy to download. And even easier to use. Just double click on the executable and you’ll get this window:

Select the file that you want to delete and that’s it. It worked for me, I’m sure it will work for you too. The developer guarantees that this program will help you to remove even the toughest files. In addition it will automatically try to unregister system files and even give you the option to unload Explorer shell before deleting.
If everything fails it will try to remove the file on next system boot.
